Production Intention
Synopsis
The plot for our trailer consists of a vengeful girl called Rose who takes revenge on a group of girls who bullied her younger brother, causing him to commit suicide. The group of girls mainly bullied her brother as he was a “geek” who played chess, so now Rose swears to end their lives. She does this by using the game chess in relation to her brother as a basis to cleverly kill the girls, like the game goes. Whenever Rose kills she says the words “checkmate”, in relation to winning the game, and her winning by killing them. Eventually after she’s killed all of them, the police lock her away in a mental institution.Characters

Target Audience
Teenagers aged from 15-17 and who are most likely to be females however our secondary audiences are Males with a similar age range. Hence, they are more likely to belong in the E socio-economic demographics; because most of them are students. We’ve decided we are targeting ‘Explorer’ from the Young & Rubicam theory. In additon our target audience belong in 'Asian' ethcinity, because most of our characters in the flim belong in the similar ethcinity.

(Budget, roughly 30million partly supplied by lottery funding).
PRINT:
o Print or website to promote your film, ( we’re doing print )
PRINT - Write two features/reviews/articles on the release of your new hybrid genre film.
(Aim to produce an A4 page for each piece including images and text)

Checkmatessss - I found some trailers to look at, and sound... (Ferhiyo)
The girl who played with fire - Trailer!
Guys!! I actually like the non-diegetic music which is played in the background, so I was thinking maybe we could use a similar sound to this for our own trailer...
