People might name it with too many names , one of these is Ghost. The film  very well shows mystery of the unknown . Actresses were marvelous ,as if they were in film industry for years. So far (zainab,siva and feo) have done most of the editing at Feo's.
New soundtrack has been implemented as the old one got a bit boring ! .

Things for sunday

Ok here goes a lot...
Firstly the note - that siva holds I was thinking of doing an animation for that using that online title thing !! it might look good or bad or perhaps just to write it on a surface with black pen ... as an extra shot lasting 6 seconds maybe more .
The title is now done I have sent this to feo
The extra shots needed : Feo in the location !! (loo) .
The lighting has to be fixed if we want to redo those bits maybe at feo's .
The sound - is now done as well for the last bit ( last 10-20 seconds ) I showed it to siva on friday and she liked it :) .
One thing though sometone has to record the actual sound as I cant find it on youtube and i did download it of itunes -sorry for that !.

Editing - this must all be done and dusted as a team of four !! on sunday as well .

Progress Report

As a group , we have managed to film the shots of our protagonist Rose moving the chess pieces etc , and on monday we managed to complete the friendship scene , and at some stage today we will be shooting the best friend scene , until happy with shots . We will then start to add all the shots filmed so far into a programme which will enahance certain features ! .

Monday the 14th - Friday the 18th - Schedule!

:: There is a couple of things which I need to discuss with you all tomorrow!

Note: This week is our last week to use the school to film – so we need to get our acts together – film what we need to film, and start as soon, as we can.

Here is a list of what we need to do:

We need to re-film the friend scene again (It won’t take long so don’t worry, and this can be done anytime this week) – I thought of a much better setting, and I added extra dialogue to this scene, which I will share with you all tomorrow morning.

Make sure everything is taken out from the locker, by Friday! - the paints, and everything else that we will be using as iconographies!

I've got some screen fonts etc - credited by film review and others - I'll bring in my notebook tomorrow!

Half-Term

Friday 25th til Sunday the 27th - WE NEED TO...

Meet up, around 1:30-2:30pm, (we'll decide a meeting point) and make our way to Ruislip Woods - rehearse the scenes that we will be filming till it starts to get dark (We're going to keep re-filming if it is not so great, until it's perfect - I'm happy to stay until late - so we need to make sure everything is done correctly the first time round) - no laughing or messing about - I'm serious! I'm sure none of us what to make another trip to the woods in the dark!


Make sure you bring something to eat, as we're staying out there for quite a while - and BTW we cannot go out to purchase refreshments/lunch - cause that would be wasting time. 


Bring your costumes/or wear them - it's up to you!

Thursday's lesson!

Anything that has been filmed ... please start to edit it out and put music together with it .... I will bring everything with me although I might not come to the lesson on time ... therefore .... Look at lighting in horror films VERY CAREFULLY ... ( i mean that ) , we need to see how to make lighting work in the woods for the forest scenes in ruislip woods during the holidays .

On screen text: And an idea, I had for how we should write/show it. (Ferhiyo)

Screen text: WE'RE ALL PAWNS IN THE QUEENS GAME - We should use the colours of the chess pieces (Cream and Black) or (Cream and Brown) for the text, as it would have more of a meaning, and would develop our narrative a little bit further (I believe).

A possible idea:: (I was thinking, that we could use some of these signs, and put a big black cross on it, to illustrate that, the protagonist hates, the insignificant players (Us). (The pawns of course, and the other pieces which have an unimportant value to them e.g. the Bishop, and rock?)

Stick them on the trees, as a symbol of death maybe? or the fear/danger of loosing the game of getting away with what, we've done. (The killing of, Rose's brother)

Ruislip woods - a place where no-one can hide .... One of the settings that we will use to film a part of the shot .. running scene . Long shot of the woods during daytime , but it will be filmed during the evening .

More music possibilties?!

This is "how i dissapear" by My Chemical Romance ,i thought it could be another music posibility perhaps? As it suits our genre and creates a notion of darkness as well with its intense drums.

Makeup! okay our makeup for Rose will include:
- Pale foundation
- Baby powder
- Eyeliner
- Red lipstick
- Bronzer

All of this will help to create our achieved effect on Zainab,as it creates a villain type aspect of the character.There will be more of an emphasis on the eyes as they will more focus on them.

Lighting-effects

The Lighting effects will include the folllowing:

- A torch
- Led lights
-Flood lights?

The use of a torch will help to create shdows on the main protagonist face,(Rose) ,this will achieve a notion of darkness and death,which is conventional in a Horror film.
Led or Flood lights will create high focus and intensity on all of our faces,which will give it a more professional look.
Our lighting is low key lighting obviously,which adds a darker dimension to it.

Production Intentions sheet

Target Audience : Our group checkmate have mainly chose the target audience of 15-17 year olds , this is because they are one of the biggest mainstream audiences in the UK for horror/thriller films . The film will be targeted at those whom mainly are interested in twilight, the omen and etc. The film trailer will mainly target young teenage girls , however the added visual effects and gun shots , plus the violence will probably attract a male audience as well . Men at that particular age love to watch anything that contains scenes of hanging , shots, blood and swearing .The Socio Economic Group for this trailer is E because its mainly aimed at teenagers , but would not be suited towards families ! , as the film trailer is rated 15 not 12 !.

Setting :

There will be three primary settings for this film trailer , firstly in the drama studio , as we want to create an sense of dynamic tension , through the use of under lighting and torches , plus naturalistic lighting as well . Time will be portrayed via the use of , daytime scenes for the school sections with the main character Rose walking through the gates of the school building . Some scenes will be filled in the woods , this is because many gangster films and horror films take place in woods .Also mystery can be created, and if a person does get murdered then it’s very hard to find the culprit for it . Which is why the use of the woods will be done during evening time or sunrise  (if possible) .Narrative of our story is that a new young school teenager ( rose ) , her best friend is killed by a main culprit who will not be revealed until the whole trailer has been finished . Basically our target audience has to work this out !.

Things to do :

Light art is a cool way to express yourself… or just make some pretty cool light images. Starting out with light art can be tricky, but as long as you have the right equipment and the determination, you'll be making a light art masterpiece in no time.
